OUR PHILOSOPHY - Boncitown Bright Minds believes everyone has incredible potential to learn. People learn best when having fun while performing an activity of interest. That's what we aim to provide to each of our students.
OUR MISSION - is to provide enrichment programs and activities that bring out each child’s maximum potential for learning and personal growth while having FUN. Our quality programs provide our LEADERS of TOMORROW with essential skills they will need to be SUCCESSFUL in their FUTURE.
OUR FOUNDER – Boncitown Bright Minds is proudly owned and operated by Ivonne Magdaleno, a local mom and resident of Montgomery County, Maryland. Ivonne Magdaleno is passionate about education. She knows that education is the key to each individual’s future. Education allows us to grow personally, intellectually, emotionally, and socially by enabling each of us to choose our futures according to our skills and preferences.
Ivonne Magdaleno was born and raised in Venezuela until the age of 10. She moved with her parents to Miami, Florida where she continued her education thru high school and a portion of her college years. She subsequently moved to Maryland and attended Columbia Union College (CUC) where she obtained her B.S. in Business Administration and Organizational Management. She furthered her education by receiving extensive training in web development from The George Washington University Center for Professional Studies. She had the honor of applying that knowledge during her tenure at The Washington Post’s Information Technology Department working as a web programmer and usability analyst.
